Government Polytechnic, Panaji, is affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Goa State. The Syllabus for each and every Diploma Programme is prepared by the Courses Committee, consisting of Faculty from the respective discipline, Educationists and Technocrats from the Industry, specifically appointed for this purpose. The Syllabus is framed under the overall supervision of Human Resource and Curriculum Development Cell, Directorate of Technical Education, (D.T.E), Goa State.
The Semester pattern is implemented in the State of Goa, for Polytechnic Education from academic year July 2006-07. Each year consists of two semesters.
